New York

 ... love this city!

We were lucky enough to visit New York again, this time in summer. It was fantastic to see the sites without snow.

To describe our days ... we walked! And then we walked some more! We had a list of things that we had chosen not to do back in the snow in February, so we set off to visit some sites and revisit some others. We all had tired feet and were exhausted by the end!

This post will mainly be photos, as its coming from Sweden and we have limited internet access.
Grand Central Station on Friday evening

World Trade Centre subway station - 8 escalators

Statue of Liberty - we climbed to the pedestal and walked around the bottom

Soccer in Times Square - Lach was happy!

Livvy in Times Square

Times Square - packed!

bagels as a snack
We wandered down a random street, happened upon the Aussie Pub,
who happened to be replaying the rugby union grand final from a few days
earlier! Tony and Lach were delighted! We settled in for a while!

Central Park

Lach got a kite for his birthday so loved the chance to fly it!

Sophie has cartwheeled her way across the US!

Brooklyn Bridge

The Highline Park - what a great way to create green spaces in NY.

9/11 Memorial

Freedom Tower, built near 9/11 Memorial
Our last night in North America. We dressed up for dinner this night!

Farewell North America - we'd loved our time visiting your continent!
